About Gosfield Hall, Essex
Gosfield Hall is a Grade I-listed Georgian manor house near Braintree in rural Essex, and a former royal residence. Set in ten acres of grounds and parkland overlooking Gosfield Lake, it offers exclusive use of the house and grounds for one wedding per day. The spaces inside are spectacular: Queen Charlotte’s Gallery with its 120-foot oak-panelled aisle, the Grand Salon with its hand-painted ceiling, and the Marquis of Buckingham’s former ballroom, where floor-to-ceiling mirrors and crystal chandeliers make for one of the most impressive reception rooms in the county.
It’s a venue with real presence, and that means everything you bring into it needs to feel considered. Fortunately, that’s something we think about carefully.

The Social Pod and 4ft Illuminated Letters
For summer weddings, Gosfield Hall’s courtyards and grounds come into their own, and our products can move outside with them. Kara and Olly, who married at Gosfield Hall in June 2024, booked our Social Pod alongside a pair of 4ft illuminated letters spelling out K&O, a combination that gave them both interactive entertainment for guests and a striking decorative feature.
